A PV preview for C-ute’s 13th single titled Dance de Bakoon! has been released. The CM for the single aired on today’s Bijo Gaku episode.

The outfits are alot different to the covers but the look better than what the cover costumes would have looked like in the PV.
To be honest, when I first heard this song, I never expected this. I thought more of a medium paced PV but this was excellent ^^

The release date is set for 8/25

p.s. I’m sorry for not posting in a while. As off today, I will try and post more often (except from the 8th-22nd as I’m on holiday. Sorry for now deciding to work on here more ^^)

C-ute’s 12th single, currently untitled, has been announced on Neowing. There will be 3 versions of the single: Regular, Limited A, and Limited B. The Single V has also been announced and it will be released 2 weeks after the single.

Most likely this will not be a one-sided single similar to SHOCK! since the sales of the last single did give UFA a clear message of what fans think of a one-person dominated single (not that positive of a message).

We will probably get the title and some covers soon, and even though it’s somewhat early to say this I’m slightly confident that this single might make up for SHOCK!.

The release date for the single is set for 4/28 and the release date for the Single V is set for 5/12.

The DVD for Hello! Project’s 2010 Winter Concert Tour ~Mobekimasu~ has been announced. The setlist for the concert is shown above, although it might have a few changes since it is the setlist for the first day.

The release date for the DVD is about 14 days after the Shuffle Deeto DVD, which is understandable since UFA most likely didn’t want to release them both at the same time since that would mean that fans wouldn’t be able to get both of them (which would mean less money for them).

The release date is set for 4/14.

C-ute’s 5th album titled SHOCKING 5 has been confirmed and a tracklist has been released on Neowing.

The release date is set for 2/24.

Neowing Page For C-ute’s 5th Album SHOCKING 5

A list with the 200 most sold singles of this year (from 12.22.2008 – 12.14.2009) according to Oricon has been released. The following H!P singles were included on the list (the release dates are in “” format):

82 – Morning Musume – Nanchatte Renai (2009.08.12) – 70,299
108 – Morning Musume – Shouganai Yume Oibito (2009.05.13) – 53,950
121 – Morning Musume – Naichau Kamo (2009.02.18) – 50,313
142 – Morning Musume – Kimagure Princess (2009.08.28) – 45,241
185 – Berryz Koubou – Watashi no Mirai no Danna-sama/Ryuusei Boy (2009.11.11) – 34,861
186 – Berryz Koubou – Seishun Bus Guide/Rival (2009.06.03) – 34,589
187 – Yaguchi Mari / Air Band – Seishun Boku/Seishun Ore (2009.03.25) – 34,368
192 – C-ute – Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu (2009.07.01) – 33,613
The following singles from H!P didn’t make the list (not including Buono!, Guardians 4, S/mileage or the Elder Club released singles):

Berryz Koubou – Dakishimete Dakishimete (2009.03.11)
C-ute – Bye Bye Bye! (2009.04.15), EVERYDAY Zekkouchou! (2009.09.16)
Mano Erina – Otome no Inori (2009.03.18), Hajimete no Keiken (2009.05.20), Sekai wa Summer Party (2009.07.29), Kono Mune no Tokimeki wo (2009.09.30), Love&Peace=Paradise (2009.11.25)
For the most part the results are great news for Morning Musume since all of their singles placed into the top 150 (the only H!P group that did it), including the only top 100 H!P single. Even their 2nd worst selling single “Kimagure Princess” managed to sell enough to place into #142.

Berryz Koubou got the 2nd highest place in H!P by having two of their singles (both double a-side) in the list, and even though “Dakishimete Dakishimete” didn’t make it into the list their consistently improving sales might make it possible to have all of their singles in the list next year.

C-ute’s sales were somewhat disappointing since they only managed to get one single into the list, but the other two singles have somewhat consistent sales so hopefully they can place higher on the Oricon next year.

Mano didn’t get any singles on the list despite releasing 5 major singles throughout the year, which is kind of expected since she is a fairly new artist and it will take some more time for the public to get used to her.

Overall the sales were somewhat surprising but they have improved for two of the groups, Morning Musume and Berryz Koubou (who managed to turn around their 2008 declining sales). C-ute’s sales are somewhat lower than the previous year, but they can be improved if they are promoted correctly.

There will most likely be better sales since most of H!P’s groups are constantly improving, so hopefully we can see some more H!P singles in the top 100 next year.

Merry Christmas everyone.
Hope everyone got what they wanted and that they had fun. I wont be posting untill the 27th, so Sunday as Im going to have christmas day off and I’m Busy on Boxing day, (26th December) Hopefully I can catch up on all the news on that day and hopefully complete all my fandubs that are due (-_-* oppps)

C-ute’s christmas theme this year is Reindeers. Hopefully we can see Berryz Koubou’s theme soon.
Its nice that C-ute are doing Reindeers this year as they have done a santa theme every year ^^

3. Big Dreams

I’m glad to see that they will release this event in a DVD since the set list is made up of some of the fan’s favorite selected songs from the Best Of album and because it features the first performance of “SHOCK!”.

This event is somewhat different since it has C-ute performing only the chorus of some of the top 11-20 songs that were chosen, which should be interesting to hear.

The cover will most likely be released near January so I will update when it is released.

The release date is set for 2/17.

The setlist for the concert has a great amount of songs and for the most part is a great goodbye to Erika (the graduation ceremony on the other hand not that much).

The cover will most likely be released soon so hopefully it turns out great and we get to see Erika clearly among the other members.

The release date is set for 1/27.
